Field Trip Days

On Field Trip Days, the Museum invites Title I middle schools to visit the Museum for a special free day exploring the artifacts, stories, people, and creative inspiration of innovative technologies past and present.

About Field Trip Days

Field Trip Days include demonstrations of historic computers, hands-on activities, and time to explore the Museum's exhibitions. All galleries are open and teachers receive a selection of activities for use with students, as well as guidance on how to structure their visit. Schedules and some self-guided activities are available in Spanish as well as English.

Field Trip Days are sponsored by Google and are offered at no cost to participating schools. There are eight Field Trip Days per year, and each can accommodate up to 200 students. Transportation reimbursements are available and lunch is provided. Participation is limited to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from Title I schools.
