Cinema Series

The Computer History Museum and CINEQUEST, Northern California's premier motion picture institute, present Computers In Film, a cinema series that highlights computer technology as a major technological or cultural force and also include--but not limited to--a plot device, a character, a backdrop, a movement or a theme. This new program at the Museum provides an exciting way for people not only to enjoy themselves, but also to launch provocative and engaging discussions on how computers in film stimulate our imagination to create real world applications. All film presentations take place in the Hahn Auditorium of the Computer History Museum, 1401 N. Shoreline Blvd., in Mountain View. The series will include:

All screenings begin at 7:00 p.m., preceded by Museum tours beginning at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free. Suggested donation of $10.00 at the door from non-members. Admission includes the screening, popcorn and soft drinks, and entrance into the Museum's Visible Storage exhibit, where nearly 600 objects from the Museum's Collection are on display.
