Raja Ramachandran

Raj is an Associate Investment Manager at Intel Capital where he focuses on embedded applications, silicon-based clean technologies, and semiconductor manufacturing. Before joining Intel, Raj led business development for Zonbu, an early stage thin client computing startup. Previously, Raj held various roles in finance and product management at Microsoft and most recently worked in the Emerging Market Incubations Group, where he built and field-tested thin client and ad-based products for India and China. Prior to that, Raj was an investment banking analyst with the hardware technology group at Robertson Stephens. Raj has consulted for nComputing (virtualization) and ACK-Media (Indian childen's media) and has also held technical positions with Boeing, DuPont Merck, and Tata Motors. Raj graduated from the Management and Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania with Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from the Wharton School (finance & entrepreneurial management) and a minor in South Asia Regional Studies. Raj also holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
