Prior to joining the Museum, Carol was a Strategic Account Manager for TechWeb’s Interop, a global business technology event, selling event space and marketing opportunities to customers such as AT&T, Avaya, Computer Associates, EMC, IBM, Novell, 3Com and Verizon Business and Wireless. Prior to that, she was Regional Sales Manager for International Data Group’s weekly magazine, Network World, selling print and online advertising programs and event sponsorships to technology companies like Brocade, Fluke Networks, IBM and Microsoft.
At Hughes Aircraft Company she was an Event Planner, working closely with company executives and VIP customers on event execution. Visitors included a NATO delegation, US senators, Ministers of Defense from the United Kingdom, Canada and Israel, and the Crown Prince of Luxembourg.
Carol holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University with honors. She also attended Sorbonne University. Carol has volunteered with the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and Stanford’s Cantor Art Museum, and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
