Judy Bruner

Judy Bruner serves on the board of directors of Applied Materials, Rapid7, Seagate Technology and Varian Medical Systems. Ms. Bruner transitioned to the role of professional director in 2016 after a career in high technology operating roles. Ms. Bruner served on the board of directors of Brocade Communications Systems from 2009 to 2017. Ms. Bruner was executive vice president of administration and chief financial officer of SanDisk Corporation, a global leader in flash storage solutions, from 2004 to 2016, when the company was sold to Western Digital. At SanDisk, she was responsible for finance, investor relations, information technology, legal and facilities. Prior to joining SanDisk as CFO, Ms. Bruner served as a member of SanDisk’s board of directors from 2002 to 2004. From 1999 to 2004, Ms. Bruner served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Palm, Inc., a provider of handheld computing and communications solutions, where she was responsible for the IPO in 2000.

Prior to Palm, Ms. Bruner spent 11 years at 3Com, in a variety of senior finance roles. Before 3Com, Ms. Bruner was chief financial officer at Ridge Computers, a privately held company, and she began her career at Hewlett-Packard Company in 1980.

Ms. Bruner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1980 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University in 1986.
