Since the part is built from gallium arsenide it has a propagation delay of 10 ns and can be clocked up to 90 MHz, making it more than twice as fast as existing silicon based parts. Patented circuit techniques make the device 100% TTL compatible so it can be substituted in place of slower silicon 22v10s that are often the bottleneck to higher system performance."
