Description
The object consists of 7 parts: RX180AB 2-drive external floppy disk drive unit; RX180AD 2-drive external floppy disk drive unit; two data cables, each terminated with a DB-25-P plug at one end and a DB-25-S plug at the other end; two detachable power cables, one of which is coiled; and a soft translucent vinyl dust cover. One data cable connects to two drive units and the other data cable is connected to the "input" jack of the RX180AD drive unit. The coiled power cable connects the two drive units and the other power cable is connected to the power-in jack of the RX180AD drive unit. The RX180AD drive unit is placed on top of the RX180AB unit and the two units appear to be attached to each other with adhesive foam tape. The letters A, B, C, and D have been hand-printed in white ink or paint on the front panels of the two drive units, with one letter adjacent to each of the four floppy-disk drive doors. The word "Boyd" has been handwritten on the back of each of the two floppy-disk drive units in black felt-pen ink. The "Where Made" entry applies to the RX180AD unit. No comparable information was evident for the other components.
