The object is a metal frame for a standard-sized panel cover of the type used on most PDP equipment racks. This one is half-height. It has two metal mounting pins set in from the back of the frame, as though it is meant to mount on an item in the rack rather than the rack itself. It had a plastic panel insert affixed with double-sided tape which has failed.
