The object is a plastic insert for a standard-sized panel cover of the type used on most PDP equipment racks. This one is half-height. It has one toggle switch mounted near one end and an additional hole next to it, possibly for a second switch. The back of the switch has a two-wire pigtail with female connectors. The panel had been affixed to a metal frame with double-sided tape which has failed.
