Description

This is a black and white image of an Intel instrumentation chassis in the center with the same chassis but opened on the right. There is a cable running from the center chassis to the right chassis. The Intellec development system is on the left which is composed of monitor and keyboard. The equipment is resting on a gray surface with a dark background. Light is coming from the direction of the camera. At the bottom of the image is a caption with text that reads "The I2ICE instrumentation chassis (center and right) has four slots: two hold the break/trace and memory I/O and mapping boards which comprise the Emulation Base Module, while the remaining slots can contain one or two high-speed memory boards or the optional logic/timing analyzer board. The Personality Module (right foreground) personalizes the I2ICE chassis for a specific microprocessor. The I2ICE communicates with an Intellec development system (left) via the latter's resident communications controller board." Written on verso side of image is "P3251". The number 2 that appears in the word "I2ICE" is in superscript.
