Description

This is a color die shot image of an iAPX 432 which is a VLSI (Very Large Scale Integrated) System implementing fault-tolerant, software-transparent, multiprocessing with an underlying object-oriented architecture. Colors are all shades of brown. Written on the verso side in pencil is "#1475". Also written is "Related to: X462.811" but is has been partially erased. Written on the first sheet of white stationary paper included with the image in pencil is "*This". The rest written in black pen is "Micrograph of 43201 (Part of iAPX 432) General Data Processor".
