Lynn Sanden discusses her career with Tymshare beginning as a secretary in the Engineering Department and gradually assuming more and more personnel-related responsibilities until she became Manager of Personnel. She discusses implementing affirmative action programs after the passage of the Civil Right Act in 1964 and her role in integrating new employees into Tymshare's personnel systems following Tymshare's numerous acquisitions. She covers how gender discrimination varied in different departments at Tymshare and touches briefly on her career after leaving the company.
