Softalk was published from September 1980 through August 1984 focusing on hardware and software associated with the Apple II platform, giving broad coverage to all parts of the Apple world at the time to a loyal fan following of business and home users. Volumes were published September – August spanning calendar years. A similar magazine exclusively for IBM PCs was launched under the same name by the same publisher in June 1982, the holding for which is catalog number 102675918.
