The front of the tape drive has a stainless steal control panel in the front above the door. The control panel has button of various colors and are labeled "AUS", "EIN", "LADEN", "ENTLADEN", "NORMIEREN", and three buttons labeled "SCHREIBDICHTE" ect. Below the control panel is a large metal door with a glass window at the top through which you can see paper tape reels. The back has two doors which open to reveal several power supplies and wires, a large card cage with metal panels containing labeled switches and lights, a box with a control panel with a counter and spots filled with several cards. At the base of the machine, in the back and outside of the doors are 2 standard European plugs. The left side of the machine is covered by a metal panel with vents at the top. The right side of the machine is covered by a solid metal panel.
