This is a large grey metal enclosure with "garage-door" style vertical covers for the front. On the otherwise plain back surface there is a fan. Both side surfaces are plain. At the top of the inside of the enclosure there is a card rack containing four horizontal rows of cards. To the left of the cards there is a panel labeled GESPERRT holding 16 toggle switches. Below this panel there are two cable connectors. Mounted on the floor of the enclosure, from right to left, are a motor-generator set, a cylindrical unit mounted on a vibration dampener, and a small metal box with a power connector. The cylindrical unit has a motor on top of a cylindrical arrangement of eight vertically mounted narrow boxes attached to a central core.
