Various metal plates contain the text MACHINES DE COMPTABILITE A CARTES PERFOREES. The card reader on the top of the machine is removable. The cards it would have contained cards measuring 7.5 in by 3.25 in. A sticker on the left side of the object reads TECHNISCHE HOCHSCHULE ILMENOU. On the back of the object is a plug board with labels in French. A plastic bag attached to the object contains 9 round objects approximately .75 inches in diameter and several wires.
