Computer pioneers Dr. John W. Mauchly (left), Chairman of the Board of Mauchly Associates, Philadelphia, and Dr. J. Presper Eckert, a Vice President with Sperry Rand Corporation's UNIVAC Division, Philadelphia, reminisce over their ENIAC, the world's first all-electronic computer after receiving the Harry Goode Memorial Award. Event took place at the Fall Joint Computer Conference in San Francisco where the two scientists were honored for "pioneering contributions to automatic computing." Portions of the original ENIAC computer, developed my Mauchly and Eckert at the University of Pennsylvania in 1946, were displayed at the conference. ### For Further Information: Michael M.
