Description

Black and white. Enigma was used by Germans during World War II as a coding machine. The device that appears in the image looks like it has been on exhibition due to the signage (in German). ca. 1949. On verso paper sticker with " Enigma The Enigma was used during World War II to transmit top secret messages. Codes could be broken on the other end by de-coders within hours.
