This is a black and white image. The description as typed on the back states: UNIVAC PHOTO #4,Edward Trost, a technician at the new UNIVAC Engineering Center in Whitpain Township, Pennsylvania, is shown replacing crystal diodes in the drum memory of a prototype model of a UNIVAC Solid-State II computer being assembled and "debugged" at the Center. This system will be the first solid-state computer to combine core and drum memories. Over 700 scientists, engineers and technicians at the Center are now working on both basic and applied engineering research, and on the testing of first models of new UNIVAC computers.
