Object is a ribbon of metal connector pins in a plastic box, described by donor thus: #45 - The rapid escalation of pin counts in packages during the 1970s created a windfall of business for connector manufacturers, who were stamping out enormous quantities of pins as shown in this item. Such companies as Berg and AMP were busily supplying the semiconductor industry with more and more product.
