National Association of Computer Consultant Businesses (NACCB) workshop : Financing and Starting the Business

Founders and executives of professional services companies discussed how their businesses diversified beyond providing computer consultants to clients, and what business models were used in developing their businesses. They also discussed the different sizes achieved by the companies in the industry, how salespersons and staff were recruited, the advantages of contracting versus permanent placement of staff, how business opportunities were selected, pricing practices, and how the consolidation which resulted in national firms impacted their business.
