The object is a heavy plastic control panel with labels such as "READY SWITCH," "CURRENT I/O NOT READY," "LOCAL STATUS," and "REMOTE STATUS" on the front and housings for lights on the back. Additional labels (examples: MAG TAPE and PLOTTER) only show up when backlit. The object has 16 holes drilled into it perhaps to accommodate switches. Text at the upper right corner of the object reads "FAIRCHILD RESEARCH DIVISION DIGITAL SYSTEMS DEPT."
