This module consists of many DIP integrated circuits, resistors, capacitors, and diodes. There are six 18 flat pin connectors at one end. "256K x 26F464 CCD Array" is printed along the edge on the solder side. This general purpose Charged-Coupled Device (CCD) memory board is designed around the Fairchild F464 CCD chip. This board was used for the analysis of these devices in a variety of applications including disk memory replacement and as a mass storage cache memory. Each memory device has a storage capacity of 64K bits made up of 16 shift registers each 4096 bits long. The maximum shift rate of these devices is 4mhz. The total storage capacity is 6.8 Mbits organized as 256K by 26 bits.
