Description

TRADIC was a transistorized airborne digital computer. "The Tradic System [was] a complete airborne bombing and navigational system."--p. 1 of "Section i. Introduction to the Tradic System." Several documents have been grouped together in a single folder; see title field above. Includes a few miscellaneous documents relating to the declassification of Tradic drawings (Jan. 30, 1961) and copies of maps of the system's range. Some of the documents also include copies of TRADIC drawings. The tape scriptions file includes one photograph of a TRADIC installation in a U.S. Air Force plane and eight photos of TRADIC screen displays from the installation.
