The object is part of the IBM 7094. The front of the control unit has a numerical counter, which reads "069515." Above the counter is an IBM counter reading "76-12627." To the right of the counter is an on/ off toggle switch. The top right corner of the panel has two rows of seven control buttons. Two of the buttons are broken exposing a toggle switch in each. Below the broken buttons two rows of red pressure tape say, "Check the C. E. HA O switch/ it should be off." The top right corner has the IBM 7631 II File Control Unit label inset. The remainder of the control panel is a grid of indicator lights. The sides and top of the control unit are grey and unmarked and the top panel is vented. The rear of the unit has two blue door which pressure release to give access to the power units. Below the doors is a silver toned ledge, extending about eight inches from the machine.
