The object is a two sided circuit board with two rows of ribbon cable connectors at the extraction end. There are three rows of integrated circuits, the largest of have sockets. Near the extraction handle there is a dial with six LED's. On the solder side there is a piece of masking tape, which says, "AA1," "AA2," "2/13/96," and someone's initial. There is also a green round sticker on the face of the extraction lever.
