The object is the mechanism of a 5-inch diskette drive lacking any housing. It consists of a metal frame on one side of which a PCB is mounted and the other side of which the loading and drive mechanism is located. Eleven integrated circuits are mounted on the PCB, along with two power transistors with their tab soldered to the board. A transistor, a few diodes, and passive components fill out the board. The connector that comes from the read optics is disconnected and is probably connected on the side of the board that is obscured. A serial number printed with solder is also on the obscured side.
