The object is a roughly rectangular cloth carrying case with a velcro fastener on the larger end. It appears to have been custom made to hold the four nomogram calculators found with the object. Apparently the purpose of the calculators is to eliminate problems in computing firing data that result from the need to interpolate. A graphical firing table (GFT) is printed on both sides of the objects.
