The object is a metal unit housed in a blue wooden case (open in both the front and the back). On the front of the object are 3 metal panels on which are mounted a display (4.5 in wide by 3.5 in tall) and various knobs and connectors. Also on the front of the object is a small orange label attached to the object with tape, which reads "CAUTION, Special phosphor, use care when operating to prevent burning." On the back of the object are a fan and 3 connectors (one labeled "FOR 117 V"), a fuse, and a slide switch. Found with the object is a DEC module (quadruple flip-flop 1213).
