The object is a large metal circuit carrier with a phenolic board mounted underneath. It has 12 vacuum tube sockets, 7 are populated. Various BNC jacks and a multi conductor connector are mounted on the top. Many of the BNC jacks have cutoff coaxial cable tails attached, including two tee-connectors. The string "842 PARITY REGISTER SERIAL #" is engraved into black/white plastic name plates affixed to both the top and the bottom. The number 23 is stamped on the bottom name plate following the "... SERIAL #" engraving.
