The object is a module with seven sockets which contain four vacuum tubes of varying size. Three of the sockets are plugged. All the tubes are framed by a metal handle. In the chassis there are two power resistors and 14 phenolic circuit boards. The boards and resistors are wired to male connectors at the bottom of the chassis. Also printed on the chassis are two inspection stamps reading "K IBM" followed by a number.
