The object is a tall metal frame containing 11 control and status panels, which have a variety of lights, knobs, toggle switches, and connectors. Each panel requires a separate power supply. One of the panels contains an embossed label reading M.I.T. SERVOMECHANISMS LABORATORY. Several of the panels are labeled DELAY LINE PANEL; also in the set are a BUFFER AMPLIFIER and GATE TUBE PANEL. One reads TX-0 PLUG-IN UNIT TESTER. At the back there are three TX-0 bottle plugs. The six gray panels look like Whirlwind panels. USAF numbers are stamped in yellow on the front of some panels.
