This unit is a single computer cabinet containing the PDP8/a CPU, memory and dual RX01 floppy disk drives. On the front of the unit, the floppy disk drives are at the top. Below them is a control panel with several indicator light (e.g., "ADDRS" and "RUN") as well as a 4 x 5 arrangement of buttons (e.g., "BOOT" and "DISP"). Below this is another control panel with power-related indicators (e.g., "DC OK" and "RUN") and flip switches (e.g., "BOOT" and "On Off DC"). There is a large paper label stuck to the left side of the unit with most fields empty. It reads: "Interplant use only; Ship to: SYSTEM; From: Attn:; to: Stockroom no:; Transfer sheet no:; Contents: 2 skips; Total No. of containers:; Digital (DEC logo)."
