Description

The record contains a teletype machine. The unit is attached to its stand; cannot detach easily and without tools. Stand has no wheels. At front is a standard QWERTY keyboard. Above the keyboard is a plastic cover. On the top left side there is an "START STOP FREE" switch. There is an LLNL DOE govt. property sticker in the bottom right corner at the top of the machine. A roll of partially punched TRW paper tape is located on the left side of the machine. There is a roll of paper inserted in the machine as well. Attached to the back is a power cord. Zip tied to the power cord it a printer cable. On the left side of the Teletype is a canister for chits. On the front there is a metal panel reading "TELETYPE" to the right of the word is a dial with positions for "LINE", "OFF", and "LOCAL."
