Description
This object is a 2-inch solid steel cylinder with a rack gear milled on one side. It bolts to the brackets in the bottom of the ATL main boxes. The tape retrieval mechanism rides along the rail. A pinion gear on one of the platform motors engages with the rack teeth on the rail. This moves the platform from side to side.
