Description

Object is a pair of tape drives mounted in a case. On the front the label reads "FileSafe(r) 1200d". There is a small LCD screen on the front. On the back is a SCSI device number selection switch, a power switch, and two SCSI connectors. An online search on "Mountain filesafe 1200d" produces an InfoWorld article from January 1990 giving the announcement of the device. It is a digital tape drive using the DAT tape medium, capable of archiving 1.3GB of data on each of the two drives.
