The object is a heavy gauge metal panel with a large rectangular hole in the middle with three vertical sides folded up from the panel. The fourth side is open with mounting angles, presumably to attach some form of cover. There is a large terminal strip mounted perpendicular to the panel, along the open side. There is a patch of clear tape with "Core Memory unit from Control Room" handwritten in black marker.
