This object is a xenon triode thyratron in a glass envelope with an industrial four-pin base and a cap for the plate at the opposite end. The circumference of the base is metal, with a ceramic bottom through which the pins project. The tube is rated at 750 V forward voltage at 6.4 A continuous current.An index card Scotch-taped to the glass envelope has the following inscription written in red felt-tip pen: "NR3127 - Box 1 - #3."
