Anada, Ikuo oral history

[This oral history is one of seven recorded in December 2014 with former leaders in the Japanese semiconductor industry. ] Anada-san was born in 1937 and graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1960, majoring in Physics. Joining Oki Electric in 1960, he held many different management positions, rising to become President of Tohoku Oki Electric Co. in 1995. During this oral history, Anada-san speaks in detail about the sources and resolution of the Japanese/US semiconductor trade dispute during the 1980’s. He also speaks to the challenges currently facing the semiconductor industry in Japan.
