Description

Charles House was born in Huntington Park, California in 1940. After winning a science fair context with a color television experiment, he was admitted to Caltech where he graduated with a BS in engineering physics. He then began a 29 year career at Hewlett-Packard (HP) designing a number of successful and long-lived products. At its peak, HP had 40,000 engineers and was the fourth largest engineering first in the world. House ascended to higher levels of the company; by 1985 he was in charge of corporate engineering. After HP, he started the InnovaScapes consulting firm and took up running a rose nursery. He discusses the 11 rules behind what is meant by “The HP Way.”
