This object is a production single-row daisywheel for the "Emphasis 10" character set. "Emphasis" was intended to be for presentations, but engravings, wheel life, ease of printing and plastic moldability were all major influences on the design. Almost all 10 point or larger typefaces (not covered by design patents) were modified to some extent to enhance wheel life, clearances and molding. The object is in a plastic case. There is a small white sticker on the top of the case with the number "3" handwritten on it.
