Morgenthaler, David T. oral history
David Morgenthaler was one of the nation’s earliest venture capital investors and entered the industry before the term “venture capital” became widely known. From his two offices in Cleveland, Ohio, and Menlo Park, California, Morgenthaler led decades of successful investments in technology companies, including an early investment in Apple, Inc. This oral history, taken when Morgenthaler was 92, covers his education, World War II experience, pre-venture capital phase, his years in investing and public policy, and leadership lessons he learned and applied in each phase of his long and distinguished career.
