Description

Michael McNeilly is a Silicon Valley pioneer with more than 30 years of entrepreneurial experience. His career began at 25 when he co-founded Apogee Chemicals Inc. to provide the semiconductor industry with new UHP chemicals and chemical delivery systems. At 28, McNeilly founded Applied Materials Inc. During his tenure at Applied, he issued over 20 patents and was the co-recipient of the first SEMI award for “Outstanding Contributions to the Semiconductor Industry.” Since then he has founded 14 high technology companies, served on the board of directors of more than 30 companies, and raised early stage capital of more than $250 million. McNeilly also received the NASA award for “Outstanding Contributions to NASA Technology Commercialization.” Most recently, McNeilly served as CEO of TwinStar Systems Inc. in Fremont, California.
