The front has 24 horizontal slots containing large plug-in modules. Each of the modules has 48 rectangular connectors on the front and a sturdy locking mechanism at each end. The front also had two small CMC modules with seven ethernet jacks. The back has 18 vertical slots labeled FC0-FC17 containing large plug-in modules. Each of these modules has eight removable cover plates and a sturdy locking mechanism at each end. At the bottom of the back there are 16 power supply slots labeled PS0 - PS15. Four of the slots have dummy place holders. The remainder are loaded with power supplies. Each power supply has a power connector and three status lights.
