This game controller, part of a set of two seemingly identical controllers, allows two users to interact with the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Action Set. It is grey and black, with black and red buttons. There are two black buttons that have an option for "select" and "start" and two red buttons that have an option for "B or "A." Finally there is a black button with arrows pointing the four cardinal directions.The game controller was distinct for it's styling and the most exact game play control of it's type and time. Nintendo Entertainment Systems were released to a test audience in 1985 in the US and went on to become the best-selling console of its time.
