This is a RF modulator, and is a silver box with black chords and silver metal edges. One chord is labeled "TV" another chord is labled "NES Control Deck" and there is a jack labeled "ANT." There is additional text which says "Nintendo RF Switch"

RF modulator takes the output of the game machine and creates a signal that your tv can display as a picture. Nintendo Entertainment Systems were released to a test audience in 1985 in the US and went on to become the best-selling console of its time. It introduced the business model of liscening third-party developers to produce and distribute games. The NES Zapper is a light-sensing video gun that brings sharpshooting accuracy.
