The diode ROM board is for a Cincinnati Milacron mini computer. The cash register specific instruction set was implemented with three diode read-only memory boards with 256 x 16 bits each. The instruction set allowed decimal computation, character maipulation, and interrupt driven direct control of attached cash register terminals. The entire instruction set was contained in these 768 x 16 bits of ROM.
