This is a photograph of a Texas Instruments' Solid Circuit circa 1960 mounted in an open-top flat package. It comprises multiple etched mesa active and passive elements interconnected with gold "flying-wires" as developed by Jack Kilby. The function is unknown. The device is in the collection of the Computer History Museum.
