Galaksija personal computer

Galaksija, which means "Galaxy" in Serbian, is a personal computer designed by Voja Antonic in 1983 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. This computer was offered as a kit or could be built individually from published plans and off-the-shelf parts. The project was published in the magazine "Computers in your home" and, according to feedback, over 8,000 readers from all over the former Yugoslavia built the computer. At the beginning, Galaksija had 4 KB of program memory and 6 KB of data memory, but in the next year ROM was extended by additional 4 KB and Elektronika Inzenjering started serial production, mainly for Yugoslav schools.
