Description

The object is a name plate/ patent plate for the IBM 305 RAMAC process unit. Random Access Method of Accounting and control [RAMAC] was the first magnetic disk storage device.

The object is rectangular with holes in each corner for screws. The card is divided into three horizontal sections. The top and bottom section are black with silver print and the middle section is silver with black print.
